our initial Floral consultation

Our A La Carte Floral collection starts right away with a free consultation. We'll grab some coffee and chat about all your floral needs! 

During our initial consultation we want to get an idea of what florals and style you're looking for. We'll go through the numbers of everything you need, look at inspiration, and discuss your general floral wants and needs. 

From there, we'll create a custom proposal for you. We include inspiration images, types of flowers that we're planning to use, and details of each arrangement or item.  This helps give you a good idea of if we're the right fit for your wedding and your budget.  It takes us about a week to pull together the proposal and send it your way.  Then your date is held for one week!  

Once you're officially booked, we can make changes to your proposal two times. Any major changes (color changes, style changes) requires a new proposal. We're always available by email in the time between booking and your final confirmation to adjust item numbers or chat about additions to your proposal! 

Then, 4-5 weeks from your wedding date, we'll jump on a call and confirm all the details with you before we order your flowers! 

our design process

Our floral design process begins a few days or weeks before our flowers actually arrive. We start prepping and cleaning buckets to make sure we're ready when the flowers do arrive. We prep our vases and containers and make sure everything is organized and ready to go. We also print out your proposal, our floral recipes, and check list! 

Once our flowers arrive, we process them.  This means unwrapping each bunch, removing thorns from roses, cutting the ends off every stem, and placing them in water.  We let the flowers hydrate overnight and then start designing!  

We begin by pulling blooms for the bouquets.  Since these are usually the centerpieces of so many of your photos, we want these to be the best blooms.  We set these aside and wait for the day before the wedding to put them together.  We start on centerpieces and any large pieces then move to corsages and boutonnieres.  Then we finish by doing the bouquets.  

We always order enough extra blooms to replace anything that could get damaged during travel.  Sometimes we wait to place delicate blooms in arragements until we arrive on site on wedding day.

our set up process

We always include set up in your floral proposal and require our staff to be the ones to set up all florals.  During our final confirmation call we'll discuss your floor plan and set up and drop off times. We always want to confirm different drop off locations and the order of events so we make sure your flowers are set before events begin.  We want to make sure we drop off bouquets before your photos start. We always contact the venue to confirm the times for our set up window so we know what time they'll be ready for us to set up.  It's so important to us that we have enough staff to complete set up in the window of time we're given. 

We place centerpieces on tables, place candles (if we're providing), and set up any other florals or decor that we're providing. If you have other personal decor to set up, (like place cards, menus, chargers, guest book, card box, etc.) we can add set up of those items into our time as well! We then go through and "fluff" and adjust any florals that shifted during travel and make sure everything looks picture perfect before we leave! 

We're also available to come back late night and clean up florals and any other decor we provide.  If you choose not to have us return to clean up, we just need to have all our vases and decor returned to us by the following Wednesday.  

Of course the flowers are yours to keep after the event.  But if you don't know what you're going to do with them, I love partnering with a flower recycling company that reuses the flowers and donates them to hospitals and nursing homes.  And it's free of charge to you!

The investment

Our A la Carte Floral minimum starts at $3500.

Through our design process we'll price out labor and assistant needs. That price will be included in your floral pricing, so there won't be any additional, surprise charges!

Rentals are an additional charge. We offer a variety of different votives, cylinder vases, and pillar candle holders along with a ton of really fun specialty vases!  We include images of vases in your proposal but we can always look into custom options as well! 

On average, our A la Carte Floral Collection couples spend around $6000 on florals and decor.

We offer wedding coordination to our Floral couples. We don't offer a coordination package by itself, but have had so many couples want to have someone coordinate and organize the day on top of our floral package that we've added this as an option.  This add on starts at $1500.  Let us know if you're interested in more details! 

In addition, our Floral couples have access to our other add ons as well!
