The Florals and Design Collection doesn't include any kind of event coordination or day of assistance. You do have the option to add a coordination package on, starting at $1500. Otherwise, our team will set up decor and florals and then will be off site. Late night clean up of decor and florals is available to be added!

Our floral and event design collection process works a little differently than if we were working with a client on Full or Partial Planning,  We normally book this package closer to the wedding date than we would if we were assisting on planning as well.  It's common to book with us for florals and design between 6-12 months from your wedding day.  We also start the process with a consultation and floral proposals. 

During our initial consultation we want to get an idea of what florals and style you're looking for. We'll go through the numbers of everything you need, look at inspiration, and discuss your general floral wants and needs. 

From there, we'll create a custom proposal for you. We include inspiration images, types of flowers that we're planning to use, and details of each arrangement or item.  This helps give you a good idea of if we're the right fit for your wedding and your budget.  It takes us about a week to pull together the proposal and send it your way.  Then your date is held for one week!  

Once you're officially booked, we move on to the design process and fine tuning your floral proposal!

our design process

Our design process is overall very similar to our design process with one of our planning collections.  We like to wait until 6 months to the wedding date to really dig into design.  We like to wait until this point in the process because so often we've found that our couples see a new idea or trend and want to rework design elements.  Because of how in depth we go into our process, any major changes do occur additional charges since they take additional time for us to research and execute.  

We start off with a simple survey to get to know you and your partner. It's kind of like one of those cheesy, but fun personality quizzes.  And it's not just about wedding stuff! We want to know your favorite foods and things to do on the weekends. Your favorite vacation and what kinds of things annoy you.  Not every detail is going to be incorporated in your wedding day, but it helps us get an idea of what kinds of things are important to you. 

From there we'll put together our custom design presentation and suggest different decor, stationery, and details to incorporate into your wedding.  The wedding design goes beyond the decor but also creates a feeling for your guests.  And we want them to walk into the room knowing your reception feels like you.  The food, the music, the lighting, the colors, and the style should all create a common theme and reflect your personalities throughout.

We include a venue walkthrough at 30 days out in our design packages.  This helps you, us and the venue make sure we're all on the same page.  We want to double check and make absolute sure we have ample time, room, and permission to build out all aspects of our design plan. (We always discuss with the venue during our design process, but it's always best to double check.) 

We also want to make sure we're on the same page as you are as far as set up and layout.  We'll set up your personal items (guest book, card box, photos, etc.) on wedding day and we want to be sure we know where you want them.  We'll also reconfirm final guest count at this time so we can finalize our floral order.  

On wedding day our team will set up all your decor, florals, and details. We include one drop of location and one set up location (drop off bouquets at a hotel, etc. and set up the venue).  Our set up team size is dependent upon the design plan and you'll know in advance how many people we'll be bringing with us.  We'll style everything so it's perfectly placed and photo ready. If you're breaking everything down, we'll leave our boxes for you to pack up and transfer.   If we're coming back to clean up later, we'll pack up all our boxes to bring back for clean up at the end of the night.  And if we are coming back, you and your family get to leave the venue after the last dance and not worry about a thing!

The investment

Our Floral and Event Design package runs $1250 plus the cost of florals

This price is based on:
• A venue within Omaha
• A basic design plan

Through our design process we'll price out labor and assistant needs. That price will be included in your floral pricing, so there won't be any additional, surprise charges!

Florals and Rentals are an additional charge. With the design collection, you'll have a great initial budget idea for florals before you even sign your contract!  We can alway add and adjust the quote according to your final design plan. 

On average, our Floral and Design Collection couples spend around $6000 on florals and decor.

We don't offer a coordination package by itself, but have had so many couples want to have someone coordinate and organize the day on top of our design package that we've added this as an option.  This add on starts at $1500.  Let us know if you're interested in more details!
