our initial planning Process

We believe your wedding day should be an heirloom celebration. A day that reflects your personalities, your traditions, and creates memories that last a lifetime. The day should focus you and your partner and you should get to enjoy every minute of it.  Our goal through our full planning collection is plan, design, and execute an event that is perfect for the two of you. You'll get to relax throughout your engagement and everything will be taken care of on one of the biggest days of your life.  

We limit our events every year, but limit our full planning weddings even more.  We currently only take 5 full planning events per year. This gives us time to customize your celebration and really get to know you. Our meetings are relaxed over coffee or appetizers, or even over the phone while you're home in your sweatpants and favorite tee.  

First, we'll start by sourcing your vendors based on your budget, wedding day needs, and what fits your style the best.  We work with the best vendors in the industry and will be able to suggest who will be the best option for your event. Once we have a basic vendor team built, we'll start on your custom design!

You've probably been dreaming of your wedding day for years and may already have a vision in your head.  Or maybe you have a Pinterest board you've been adding to since before you were engaged.  No matter how much you have planned, our design process is one of the most fun and exciting parts of planning your wedding day.  

Our custom design process starts with a mood board.  Once we have your basic colors and style decided, we'll put together your mood board for you.  This will be the big picture, the over-arching design ideas for your day.  We'll use this to help your design related vendor get an idea of the feel of your event and we'll base design decisions based off this board.  

Then, around the 6 month mark, we'll create your custom design presentation.  This will include visuals, mockups and inspiration for every wedding day detail; all your floral details, your tablescape designs, your decor, and your custom items. We'll discuss ways we can weave your personalities throughout the event through your favorite foods, music, traditions, and styles.  

Once your design presentation is approved by you, we'll start creating your custom pieces and ordering any specialty decor.  Then you get to sit back and relax and see it all come to life on your wedding day!

Throughout the planning process in our Full Planning Collection, we'll handle all vendor communication and questions. We try to keep your inbox as clear as possible so you can relax and focus on the big picture. We'll handle the details!  

At the 90 day mark, we'll meet for our famous (or maybe it's infamous) logistics meeting.  This meeting can last 2-3 hours (or more) and we cover every detail of your wedding day.  This is where we start creating the final to do list and putting together your wedding day timeline. We'll review vendor contracts, discuss layout and set up needs, and make sure every detail is checked off.  

After our logistics meeting, we'll reach out to your vendors and start finalizing timelines with them.  Our goal is to make your vendors' jobs as easy and as enjoyable as possible.  We want to make sure they have all the information they need before your wedding day and make sure we are prepared to accommodate their needs.  It's so important to us that we work alongside vendors and collaborate with them to make sure your wedding day goes smoothly.  

Then, one month before your wedding we'll set up a final walkthrough with your venue.  We'll finalize layout and set up details along with day of details.  We'll review last minute details so we're ready to go on wedding day!

All of our planning leads up to the day of the celebration! Two weeks from your date we'll send you your final timeline to approve.  One week from your date, if you choose, we'll send your timeline out to your family and friends so they're ready to go on wedding day as well!  We'll reconfirm with all vendors and make sure everyone is ready to go. 

On wedding day, we want you to relax, enjoy your friends and family, and soak it all in. Our gaol is to already have the answers to all the questions that could pop up so you won't have to be interrupted by vendors throughout your day. 

Your Full Planning Collection includes a team of Lindsay plus two assistants on wedding day. (This team could be increased due to guest count or design needs.) Our team will set up all your decor, florals, and style every detail. We'll bring your vision to life through our design. We want you to walk into the reception area and be blown away!

We'll also coordinate with vendors and make sure everyone is setting up when and where they need to be.  We'll help manage your timeline and check in with your bridal party to make sure everything is going as planned.  

There are endless hours of planning that go into this one day.  We want you to enjoy every second of it!

The investment

Our Full Planning, Design and Florals Collection begins at $4250

This price is based on:
• A full service venue within Omaha
• Up to 150 guests
• A basic design plan

It's so important to us that we are fully ready to execute your wedding day to our best ability!  We may need to bring on additional assistants or put in additional hours for travel outside of Omaha, a private residence or DIY venue, higher guest count, or a more in depth design plan.  Package price will be adjusted accordingly.

Florals and Rentals are an additional charge.  We'll work with you during our design process to create an event design perfect for your vision AND your budget. 
Most of our clients invest an average of $6000 on florals and decor.
